"The Big Dog" is in the house!
On October 23rd, the former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns dropped a bombshell on the wrestling world and announced that his Leukemia which had been in remission for eleven years had returned. Reigns stated that he would have to step away from the ring to go fight the battle that is ahead of him. In the days and weeks following Reigns' announcement, the love came pouring in from the wrestling world regardless of the promotion or personal standpoints on Roman Reigns' on-screen character or the WWE product as a whole.
It was a come-together moment for all and in interviews to date, WWE roster members say that they cannot wait to see "The Big Dog" come back home. After all of the support he received, Reigns thanked everyone who wished him well on his journey and although Roman is battling Leukemia once again, he is not letting that stop him from supporting his alma-mater Georgia Tech. Reigns was in attendance at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets versus Georgia Bulldogs game and stated during a video that's it's all about G-Tech.
