Roman Reigns: Cody Rhodes Is Not A Georgia Fan, He Went To Walmart And Bought A Shirt

Georgia and Georgia Tech are set to clash on the football field on November 29th in the annual Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate game. Georgia has won six straight and are favored by 17.5 on Friday.

The alma mater of Roman Reigns might not be able to snap the losing streak, but he won't let Cody Rhodes claim credit for Georgia's success.

"Cody is not a Georgia fan. He's like a lot of these Georgia people. Cody is one of those guys who went to Walmart and bought a Georgia Bulldogs shirt. That's it. He didn't go to the school. He may have had a couple of stupid adolescent nights down there on whatever stupid street they have in Athens, but he's not a Georgia Bulldog," Roman said while speaking to Jimmy Traina on the SI Media podcast.

Roman and Cody met at Georgia Tech ahead of WWE Bad Blood to find common ground as they prepared to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Elsewhere during the interview, Roman explained why he will always take a shot at Seth Rollins. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
