Roman Reigns officially hit 1000 days as WWE Universal Champion, and has added to his collection over the 1000 days, winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

During his reign, Roman has made 28 successful title defenses, stacking and smashing the likes of Bryan Danielson, Edge, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Goldberg, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and more.

Reigns most recently defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 to retain the titles.

Only Bruno Sammartino (2,803 days and 1,237 days), Pedro Morales (1,027 days), Bob Backlund (2,135 days), and Hulk Hogan (1,474 days) have surpassed 1,000 days with a major WWE championship.

Roman will be in action at WWE Night of Champions, but he won't be defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Instead, he will be teaming with Solo Sikoa to challenge Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
