Roman Reigns comments on The Rock returning to wrestling.
Since the pandemic, Roman Reigns has been the face of WWE, becoming the Head of the Table and fueling WWE programming alongside Paul Heyman and his family. The Bloodline went to the next level in February when The Rock returned, and despite an initial confrontation with Reigns, ended up acknowledging the Tribal Chief.
Speaking at the WrestleMania XL press conference, Roman was asked what it was like working with his cousin on-screen.
"I feel what we did started in August 2020. In order to attract a global superstar like my cousin, we have to be on the up and up. You have to have something special going on because he always has something special being offered. This had to have been something even greater than even Hollywood can offer. He does all kinds of stuff now, he's that successful. For him to pay attention to us and want to be involved with what we're doing, it just speaks on how special the Bloodline is and how we've primed this place and made this place a destination for everybody. There is no question now. This is the place to be, and it's because of us. Through the most turbulent times. COVID, no fans, everything that has gone on. Tribal Chief and Wiseman keep it steady around here," said Reigns.
Reigns & Rock were victorious in the main event of WrestleMania XL Saturday, defeating Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.
Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania XL Sunday.
