Well, I mean, it's nice to have a high opinion of yourself!
Roman Reigns was interviewed by Corey Graves on WWE's latest new interview show, Straight to the Source. He made no qualms about how he sees himself as a wrestler: he feels that he's the best in the world right now.
"You know I’m the best performer in ring in the world right now" he told Graves. "You can go to my matches and my pay-per-views over the last three years and you can say I’m an idiot or you can be like ‘man, he’s got a point’, you know what I mean?”
He also talked about beating the Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 this past year. He's gotten a polarizing reception from the crowd, but they did not like it the next day when he came out and declared that this was his yard. He was straight to th e point when Graves asked him if he was the top guy in WWE right now.
"Every day of the week. This is the top of the mountain here. Point blank - period" he said succinctly.
Reigns is the current Intercontinental champion, defeating Miz a couple of weeks ago on Raw. He is scheduled to face Triple H in big events in Abu Dhabi later tonight.
