Roman Reigns "Suspended" After Vince McMahon Altercation At WWE Raw

Four weeks remain until Roman Reigns' main event slot at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship, but he's been temporarily suspended within WWE storyline.

The former WWE Champion Reigns appeared at the beginning of WWE Monday Night Raw on March 12 to take a shot at his opponent in Brock Lesnar, who was supposed to appear for a face-to-face confrontation with Reigns. WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle informed the crowd that Lesnar wasn't at the venue, much like two weeks prior with the same segment scheduled.

Reigns took to the mic and said that Lesnar deserves to be fired for not showing up to work, calling Lesnar "Vince's boy," -- referring to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Reigns would retreat to the backstage area and confront McMahon, before being guided to an office. Following their meeting, McMahon announced that Reigns was suspended and recommended that Reigns follow his cousin Rock's popular catchphrase to "know your role and shut your mouth."

Lesnar's absence from WWE Raw was planned and is a continued part of the WrestleMania storyline in an effort to get Roman Reigns over with the crowd as a babyface.
