Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had a meeting on the football field at Georgia Tech, and the segment aired on the September 20th episode of WWE SmackDown. For Reigns, returning to Georgia Tech was a meaningful experience. Long before he rose to stardom in WWE, he was a top player for the Yellow Jackets; he played defensive tackle and was named First-Team All-ACC.

Reigns took to Twitter/X to thank Georgia Tech football coach Brent Key, and he wrote that it was good to be back home. The post included a picture of Reigns working out at the school.
