Ronda Rousey At Performance Center, Plans For Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen

The oft-rumored wrestling Four Horsewomen vs. MMA Four Horsewomen match is reportedly still in the cards.

The Wrestling Observer noted on Wednesday that the match pitting Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley against Ronda Rousey Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir is now likely to take place at Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans. This will give the more inexperienced wrestlers Duke, Shafir and Rousey more time to be ready in the ring. Baszler, who has been wrestling for a couple of years, is already under WWE contract following her performance in the Mae Young Classic.

Fourth Performer Advances In Women's Intercontinental Title Tournament On WWE Raw

As Fightful.com exclusively reported in August, Ronda Rousey began wrestling training with Duke under Brian Kendrick at WWE's recommendation, where she would also attend a Rocky Romero seminar. As of that point, there were no firm plans for a match as the company wanted to see how the remaining three Horsewomen took to wrestling. Thus far, Fightful's sources have received nothing but positive notes.

Along with Baszler, Rondy Rousey has also been training at the WWE Performance Center in the last week. Jessamyn Duke has also relocated to Orlando, and Marina Shafir had lived in Florida with her fiance Roderick Strong already.

It was originally rumored elsewhere that the match would take place at Survivor Series. However, despite one tease (see above) during the Mae Young Classic tournament that Baszler was in, they never shot any angle between the four and nothing was followed up on after the tease.

Baszler made it to the finals of the Mae Young Classic before losing to Kairi Sane.
