Rory Fox: Tuxedo Match Against Matt Cardona Will Happen, He Never Sent $1,000 For Tuxedo

The lowlight of Rory Fox's career came in September 2009 when his pants ripped in a match against Matt Cardona.

The infamous incident has become the butt of many jokes between the two men and led to an 11-year rivalry that can only be settled in a Tuxedo Match. The challenge was issued by Cardona at the end of TalkNShopAMania 2, but the bout has yet to happen.

According to Rory, Cardona is the one holding things up.

"If it wasn't for COVID, this would've happened last year. Well, it would have happened earlier since last year at this time Matt was still with WWE. Now, when the world opens back up, Rory Fox vs. Matt Cardona in a Tuxedo Match is going to happen. The tuxedo isn't ready yet because big mouth "alwayz ready" Matt Cardona said he was going to send me $1,000 to get a tuxedo," Fox said on Da Call Up podcast.

When asked if Cardona had paid up, Fox replied, "Hell no. Matt Cardona, you're not "alwayz ready" to give me the cash. All my money is going towards the Rory Fox Tuxedo Fund."

The ball is in the court of Matt Cardona. He can make the Tuxedo Match happen at TalkNShopAMania 3. All he has to do is spend $1,000 less on action figures and send that money to Rory Fox.
