Roxanne Perez says there's a reason she's called The Prodigy.
At NXT Great American Bash, Perez continued to tap into her aggressive side when she defeated Blair Davenport in a Weapons Wild Match. With the victory, Perez avenged her previous loss to Davenport on the July 4 episode of WWE NXT.
In an NXT Exclusive, Perez celebrated her win with her mother and sister, who were in the crowd for the show. When asked about her victory, Perez made it clear that she showed why she shouldn't be underestimated. Perez then stated that there's a reason why her nickname is The Prodigy, and she claimed that she is the best woman in NXT.
"I feel absolutely amazing. I feel like a freaking prodigy, that’s how I feel. I think I definitely proved a point to not only Blair Davenport, but to anybody else out there that has ever underestimated me. I’m not one to be underestimated. There’s a reason why they call me The Prodigy, and I’m not afraid to say that I am the best woman here in NXT," Perez said.
