- The Observer also reports that Shelton Benjamin will still be working with the WWE when he reutrns from injury.
- WWE may be targeting Boston and NYC as potential NXT Takeover spots this year.
- Vince McMahon also missed Backlash because of his injury.
- Two-time NCAA Heavyweight Champion Nick Gwiazdowski was at Backlash, and will likely be getting a tryout after the 2020 Olympic Games.
