Sabu teases that he might have at least two more matches in him.
Sabu has not wrestled since 2021, as he has dealt with some health issues. He appeared at The People vs. GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and Joey Janela agreed to face him in his retirement match at Joey Janela's Spring Break 9.
During a Q&A at For The Love of Wrestling (via Monopoly Events), Sabu was asked about the match.
“That is not my last match. It’s one of my last matches. If I win, not my last match. If I lose, my last match. So we’ll see how it goes [laughs]," Sabu said.
