In August, the game revealed that Matt Cardona, Sandman, Dynamite Kid, and many others were announced for the DLC roster.

In a new interview with WrestleZone, Sam Vallely, the lead developer for the game, said that the DLC roster isn't quite finalized yet, as they are waiting for people to sign contracts. Vallely also stated that there are some people that are waiting for their WWE legends contracts to expire.

“We’ve got a bunch of people that are on board, but haven’t yet signed. The intent to sign, they’ve just not got around to it yet. We basically took everyone that we had that was actually signed and put them in the Showcase. We do have a bunch of other people that are either going to sign, they just need to get their lawyers to look through it, or people that are [under] WWE legends contracts that have to wait until those expire, that want to be in the game, so they’re just waiting until that turn out and then they can come on board. Wish I could tell you who those people are.”
