Sami Zayn reflects on working with The Briscoes.
WWE star Sami Zayn took to Twitter/X to respond to a video that highlighted the anniversary of the classic Ladder War between The Briscoes and Kevin Steen and El Generico. Zayn wrote that The Briscoes were the best tag team of the past 25 years, and they were on a short list for the best of all time. He stated that at least a dozen top wrestlers today would tell you that the best/toughest tag team matches were with The Briscoes.
Zayn also stated that he would not be where he was without The Briscoes. He said that he missed Jay, and he loved Mark.

The Briscoes had a legendary run in ROH, and they held the ROH World Tag Team Championship 13 times. Both brothers held the ROH World Championship, among other accolades. They also held the tag team titles on GCW, IMPACT, and NJPW, among other companies. Jay tragically passed away in a car accident on January 17, 2023.
Mark Briscoe continues to wrestle for AEW and ROH, and he is the reigning ROH World Champion.
