Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are currently at odds, but the door has always been open for a potential reunion in the past. Now, Zayn comments on whether or not that has changed.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have the kind of hot-and-cold relationship Katy Perry was referring to in 2008. Whether on the independent circuit or in WWE, they have feuded and teamed with each other enough times that even though their relationship is once again volatile, the idea of rekindling is always on the table.
In that spirit, while appearing on FN Barn Burner, Zayn was asked whether this most recent betrayal was the death knell for their relationship. Zayn isn't exactly ready to try to reconcile immediately after their upcoming Unsanctioned Match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, but he knows better than to act like it will never happen.
"Look, I've said before, 'No,' and I've been wrong, so I don't know. Maybe I'm just being emotional and I'm saying, like, 'No, no, this is it. This is it for real. ' Maybe three, four years pass and you kind of start to overlook things. That's just kind of how life is. I don't want to say — never say never. I've learned that by now, but I don't know. Right now, we've got an issue, and it's time to solve it."
