Tensions continue to rise between Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn.
On the July 1 episode of WWE Raw, WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn came to the ring to discuss his title match against Bron Breakker at WWE Money in the Bank. Zayn vowed to beat Breakker and retain the gold. Breakker interrupted and told Zayn that he had no idea what was waiting for him at WWE Money in the Bank. He told the champion that he was going to break him and take his title.
Zayn noted that, unlike the other superstars Breakker beat, he would get back up and keep fighting. He then said that if he had to tell Breakker who he was, then maybe Bron had not done his homework. With that in mind, he said that Breakker might not be as good as he thought he was. Breakker then caught Zayn by surprise with a Spear.

Zayn evaded another Spear, and they brawled, but Breakker dropped him with another thunderous Spear. Breakker then raised the title and stood tall over Zayn.
