Sami Zayn tried to help Seth Rollins to close the January 20th episode of WWE Raw, but his plan backfired.
As McIntyre was going to kick Seth Rollins' head into the ring post, Zayn made the save for Rollins. McIntyre managed to neutralize Zayn momentarily with the Glasgow Kiss.
Back in the ring, McIntyre cornered Rollins and said they should be fighting on the same team. Zayn charged in with a Helluva Kick, but McIntyre moved and Zayn struck Rollins.
McIntyre left the ring smiling with Zayn explained to Rollins that he was not aiming for him.

Rollins defeated McIntyre in the main event, catching him with a jacknife pin for the victory.
Rollins, Zayn, and McIntyre are all set to compete in the men's Royal Rumble match.
