Sammy Guevara: I Can't Wait Until I'm A Four-Time AEW TNT Champ, People Are Clamoring For It

Sammy Guevara is a three-time AEW TNT Champion, who might be considered a four-time AEW TNT Champion if you count his Interim AEW TNT Title reign as its own reign.

Guevara most recently lost the AEW TNT Championship to Scorpio Sky on the April 27 episode of AEW Dynamite in a ladder match.

Of course, you can't win the title multiple times unless you lose it multiple times.

"I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say, I can't wait until I'm a four-time, five-time champion. People are clamoring for it," Guevara told Brandon Walker of Rasslin.

Since Guevara and Tay Conti brought their real life relationship onto television, fans have turned against them as they constantly flaunt their love.

When asked why he believes fans are no longer on their side, Guevara said, "Really, what happened, is people exposed themselves. I don't think people hate us. People exposed themselves to being fake. The real people are still there. Our core audience, people who have always supported us, still support us."

Conti added, "We did nothing wrong for people to hate us. Why? Why do they hate us?"

They continued by saying they are just traveling the world and having fun together.

When it was noted that all the traveling must be expensive and asked how they are able to do it, Conti said, "TK's [Tony Khan] favorite wrestlers."

Guevara added, "TK's faves. He might like a lot of people, but if he's going to say, 'who is my two faves?'"

They both then posed and smiled, alluding to the fact that they are Tony Khan's favorite wrestlers.

Khan recently stated that he likes Guevara and Conti, both as individuals and together, but admitted that the fans didn't like them together.
