Speaking with Joe Murray for 98.5 The Sports Hub, Samoa Joe was asked whether he had ended MJF.

“I think I might’ve. We’re not here and hiding our hair of him, he’s not around too much anymore. But I will say this about Max, he’s a tremendous talent, tremendous athlete, and it’ll be very interesting to see what his future holds," Samoa Joe said.

Fightful Select previously reported that MJF was expected to take time off following AEW Worlds End.

There is no word on when MJF will return to AEW. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.

During the interview, Joe said that the end of the world would be the only time that the title would be leaving him. Check out his comments here.
