The Death Riders have been dethroned.
Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs captured the AEW Trios Championships at AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru, defeating The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta).
The finish saw Joe choke out Moxley to win the championships.
The match had interference from a returning Willow Nightingale, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson), and Swerve Strickland.
HOOK was originally scheduled to team with Joe & Shibata, but it was announced he was taken out by the Death Riders. Hobbs took his place.
