Samoa Joe On Missing WrestleMania And What To Expect In His Return

Samoa Joe says he has a chip on his shoulder because he missed WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 34, Samoa Joe missed his opportunity to be on his first WrestleMania card in his career. He debuted on the main roster before WrestleMania in 2017 but did not have a match and this year he was injured. In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Samoa Joe talked about missing the biggest event of the year again.

"I think anybody is always upset at that proposition. (WrestleMania) is a big day for us and our industry. Any time the Super Bowl is being played, you want to be in the game. Sitting on the bench especially when you're ready to run, it's a tough go but I deal with it the best I can," said Samoa Joe.

On Raw, Samoa Joe showed up to challenge Roman Reigns at WWE Backlash. In the interview he talked about what fans can expect from him now that he is back.

"Weekends like this kind of put a chip on your shoulder. Obviously there's some guys that will have some special moments this weekend and I can't wait to smack them in the mouth and make that moment not so special anymore," said Samoa Joe.

Samoa Joe has been out since January with a non-serious injury, before leaving he was feuding with Roman Reigns.
