Samoa Joe retained at AEW All Out, but he seemingly made a new enemy.
In the opening match of AEW All Out, AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole defeated John Silver and Alex Reynolds to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship. MJF seemingly hurt his neck during the bout.
Doctors helped MJF to the back, and as he made his way up the ramp, Samoa Joe made his entrance for his match. He shoved MJF, prompting the AEW World Champion to run into the ring and take the fight to Joe. Joe temporarily locked MJF into a chokehold until they were broken up by security.
