Samoa Joe is excited about the future of AEW.
In 2024 alone, All Elite Wrestling has signed a ton of new talent including the likes of Will Ospreay, Deonna Purrazzo, Bryan Keith, and Queen Aminata. Many fans believe that the promotion will be bringing in more talent in the near future, especially with the 'Big Business' event taking place on Wednesday, March 13.
While speaking at the post-Revolution media scrum, Samoa Joe was asked about the company's growing talent pool and what it means to be a world champion during a time like this.
“It’s indicative of what AEW has always stood for. We go out, we find the best wrestlers in the world, and we bring them together to find out who is the best wrestler in the world. Currently, that is me. But on my heels are some of the greatest grapplers to ever step foot in a ring. When we have acquisitions, men like Will Ospreay, how can you not be excited about the future of this company? Once again, we set up the protocol. Will Ospreay is new here. He’s a fantastic, dynamic athlete, has had tremendous success everywhere he’s been. But until he has that success here, I don’t need to worry about him."
Elsewhere in the scrum, Joe talked about the current state of the AEW locker room. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
