The Sandman Says He Hasn't Talked To Anyone From AEW: I'm So Far Out Of The Business, It's Crazy

The Sandman doesn't think he'll be following Sabu and Rob Van Dam with an AEW cameo.

The Sandman was one of the top stars in ECW's history, winning the ECW World Title multiple times. Sandman also took part in WWE ECW, earning him a spot on WrestleMania 23 in 2007, alongside RVD, Sabu, and Tommy Dreamer as they defeated ECW's New Breed of Kevin Thorn, Marcus Cor Von (Monty Brown), Matt Striker, and Elijah Burke (Da Pope).

Recently, both Van Dam and Sabu have appeared in AEW. Sandman was asked if he'd been in contact with anyone in AEW about a potential appearance, making it clear he has not spoken to any All Elite Wrestling representatives and is very much out of the wrestling business.

"I've never talked to anybody in AEW, just so you know," he said during a K & S WrestleFest virtual signing. "Then again, I don't even know if they'd have my phone number. I'm so far out of the business. It's crazy."

Rob Van Dam recently wrestled Jack Perry for the FTW Title on AEW Dynamite episode 201, losing to the freshly-turned heel.

Following that, RVD said there had been talks of more potential appearances. Fans can read more at this link.
