- Santino Marella, the TNA Director of Authority, returned to WWE TV on Vengeance Day. He agreed to meet with WWE NXT GM Ava and discuss ideas concerning the working relationship between WWE and TNA. After the show, a digital exclusive was posted where Santino appeared generally pleased with the meeting. At the same time, Arianna Grace, the brand liaison and Santino's daughter tried her best to eavesdrop and figure out what was happening. Check out the video embedded above.
- The big surprise at the show's end was the official NXT debut of Jordynne Grace as an official roster member and not an ambassador of TNA:

- The show kicked off with Stephanie Vaquer capturing the WWE NXT Women's North American Title. This Tuesday, her first challenger will be determined.
- Ricky Starks will officially sign his WWE NXT contract this Tuesday.
- Eddy Thorpe defeated Trick Williams in a Strap Match in a move that shocked Washington DC:
