Saraya Doesn't Know If Mercedes Mone Will Be At 1/11 AEW Dynamite, Did Text Her After NJPW Debut

Saraya doesn't know if Mercedes Mone will show up on AEW Dynamite.

When AEW announced that Saraya could have a partner of her choosing to take on Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter on the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, fans speculated that Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks in WWE) could be her partner.

On the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya picked Toni Storm to be her partner in the match, leaving Hikaru Shida upset and insulted that she was not picked

Despite Saraya picking her partner, there is still speculation from fans that Mercedes will make an appearance at AEW Dynamite now that she's officially a free agent and has made her debut for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

"I don't know. I wish I knew that. Even Meech, my manager, is constantly asking, and I'm like, 'I have no idea' I asked Tony Khan like, 'what's the deal?' I would love to (face her) in AEW because I'm there. Tony has a good relationship with New Japan and he loves New Japan. Sasha, I texted her the other day just to be like, 'congratulations.' She said that she was happy. I'm not starting any rumors with her," Saraya said with a laugh during an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid's Shade45 show.

Saraya once again noted that Mercedes was the first person she messaged after learning that she was cleared and that she would love to wrestle Mercedes as they have a built in story. It was a kick from Mercedes that re-injured Saraya's neck in December 2017 and forced her to retire at the time. Saraya has stated many times that she holds no ill will towards Banks, knowing the kick was an accident.
