Boss Time could be running out.
According to a report from Raj Giri, WWE has released Sasha Banks. He does not state whether this was a company decision or done at the behest of Banks.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp provided the following update:
I spoke with Raj this afternoon and asked WWE about this. As of this evening, they said they hadn't heard that, and talent relations didn't seem to know.

Not saying that it didn't or isn't happening, but this is what I've heard so far when I asked. Raj has good sources https://t.co/cnBADkuFyg
Banks and Naomi were indefinitely suspended by WWE on May 20 after walking out on the May 16 episode of WWE Raw. According to WWE's statement, "they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out."
Banks was advertised to compete in a six-pack challenge on the May 16 WWE Raw against Naomi, Nikki ASH, Doudrop, Becky Lynch, and Asuka. The bout was changed to Lynch vs. Asuka with WWE announcers referencing the walkout and calling Banks & Naomi "unprofessional" and saying they "disappointed the WWE Universe."
Banks has not publicly commented on the situation. Fans can find full details on the walkout and the fallout from it by clicking here.
Banks last wrestled on television on the May 13 episode of WWE SmackDown when she and Naomi defended their WWE Women's Tag Team Titles against Natalya & Shayna Baszler.
She was signed by WWE in 2012 and held the SmackDown Women's Championship, Raw Women's Championship, NXT Women's Championship and Women's Tag Team Championships during her time in the company.
She also headlined night one of WrestleMania 37 against Bianca Belair and has main evented multiple pay-per-views.
Outside the ring, Banks (under her real name Mercedes Varnado) has starred in Star Wars The Mandalorian as Koska Reeves.
Fightful will monitor the story and update the situation as more details become available.
