Hot Ones was the way for Sasha Banks.
On September 15 the trailer for season two of "The Mandalorian" revealed that Sasha Banks will be part of the new season. The trailer did not divulge much but did show Banks in a cloak.
Appearing on New Day: Feel The Power, Banks revealed that her guest appearance on Hot Ones two years ago played a factor in Star Wars noticing her.
"Sarath [Ton, Banks' husband] just knows everything that is cool in the world and he got that for me," Banks said about appearing on Hot Ones. "If I can give a little something cool, that's how I got noticed for Star Wars. That's a little secret."
When asked about her Star Wars appearance, Banks began to tear up before saying, "It still has not hit me. It's crazy. It's fickin' Star Wars, it's insane. There's not much I can talk about it yet, but I'm in it and I'm so thankful."
She went on to say that she doesn't know anything that's going on with the show as it's very secretive.
When asked if "The Mandalorian" would lead to Sasha jumping into Hollywood, she said, "I don't know, I'm just here to be happy and have fun."
The new season of "The Mandalorian" will premiere on Disney+ on October 30.
Banks is set to challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell.
