2018 was a frustrating year for Sasha Banks.
The Legit Boss didn't have much to brag about last year as her stop-and-start feud with Bayley never went anywhere. The two seemed destined for a big match at WrestleMania or SummerSlam, but the bout never came to fruition and the best friends turned enemies turned best friends again ended up in a tag team with nothing to fight for.
Appearing on Edge & Christian's Pod of Awesomeness, Sasha discussed her 2018.
"Last year, (mine and Bayley's) career was at a standpoint where we weren't really doing much," said Sasha. "We were told one thing and the next day it was something else. We thought we were going to be facing each other then they stopped that. Then they were going to make us a tag team so we thought, 'Okay, let's be the best tag team we can possibly be.' We're training together, we're watching tape together...just to be told that they weren't having the (women's tag team) titles. Next thing you know, they introduce the titles."
2019 is off to a better start for Banks as she is slated to face Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Title at the Royal Rumble.
