X-Pac says he will not be a surprise entrant in the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match.
The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is consistently a show that brings surprises in all shapes and sizes, namely in entrants into the men's and women's 30 participant matchups. Surprise entrants have been known to come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from NXT roster members to WWE Hall Of Famers having a swan song in the match.
One legend who has been rumored for the 2024 Men's Rumble match, is WWE Hall Of Famer Sean Waltman, known as X-Pac during his time in WWE. However, Waltman has now seemingly ruled himself out of the match for this year on social media. Waltman stated that he is 'about a month away from taking his shirt off in public' and thus, would not be wrestling at the Rumble.
I can still go at the drop of hat, at least for a few minutes. I can do all my kicks, except the one in the corner & I can do that again with a few weeks training. I'm at least month away from taking my shirt off in public, so zero chance I'll be in the Rumble.

Despite being the bearer of bad news, Waltman would still answer a fan's question of what entrance he would use, posting a simple image.

Waltman has not competed in the ring since March of 2022, where he faced off with Joey Janela in Game Changer Wrestling.
SmackDown's Bayley recently spoke about the possibility of a surprise entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble match, when she addressed the possibility of AJ Lee entering the matchup. You can read more about that here.
