Seth Rollins pulls no punches when it comes to his thoughts on CM Punk.
Fans haven't seen Punk on-screen in AEW since AEW All Out when he defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Title. He was subsequently suspended for his role in an altercation with The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) after he made disparaging comments towards them and others at the All Out press conference.
While it is unknown if or when Punk will return to television, Seth Rollins doesn't seem keen on the idea of him returning to WWE.
"Philly Phil, stay away. Stay away, you cancer, get away from me forever. I don't like Phil. I don't like Phil, he's a jerk. Did we just figure that out? Everybody in the room is like, 'did he say that?' Yeah, he's a jerk. Come on. We figured it out over there, we knew it over here. I don't want him back. Go do something else. Bye bye. See you later," Rollins told Nick Hausman of Wrestling INC.
Punk and Rollins were involved in Punk's final WWE program before leaving after Royal Rumble 2014 as he was feuding with The Shield (Rollins, Roman Reigns & Jon Moxley). They competed in a singles bout on the December 30, 2013 episode of WWE Raw and had a handful of multi-man matches before Punk departed the company.
Rollins is set to compete in the 2023 men's Royal Rumble. Fans can check out the current lineup for the event by clicking here.
