Seth Rollins breaks his silence.
Fresh off burning down the Firefly Fun House, Seth Rollins was ready to defend the WWE Hell in a Cell finish on social media. As previously noted, fans were not happy with the finish, which saw the referee call for a "match stoppage" after Rollins smashed a sledgehammer into steel laid upon "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt's face. Fans chanted "AEW and "refund" in the arena while loudly complaining on social media.
On Raw, it was announced Rollins and Wyatt would rematch at WWE Crown Jewel in a Falls Count Anywhere match, which was immediately subject to jokes on how the WWE Universal Title bout would end. That's when Rollins defended the Hell in a Cell finish.
Correction: it ended in a ref stoppage. When a body isn’t moving, the official has to make the right call. https://t.co/EBFI9pNpJE

I imagine Mick and Taker might have liked the ref to stop the match there. Might have added a few more years to Mick’s incredible career. Just a thought.

Foley has not responded to Rollins' tweet as of yet. Fightful will update this post if and when Foley responds.
Fans weren't the only ones unhappy with the finish as Roman Reigns also commented, saying he wasn't a fan of how things went down inside the cell. You can view his full comments by clicking here.
