Will we get the match?
The current WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins is currently in the middle of an on-screen feud on RAW with Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler and on Rollins' side for this feud is WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and at times the wavered Dean Ambrose. Rollins along with Alexa Bliss, Nikki and Brie Bella were all present at ACE Comic Con in Chicago yesterday and Rollins and Alexa were the focus of a Q&A session during the event.
Rollins was asked who is a wrestler that is not signed to WWE that he'd like to wrestle and Rollins stated that he'd like to prove he's the best in the world by facing the man who has been deemed the best professional wrestler in the world, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega. WrestleZone was live at ACE Comic Con and tweeted Rollins' answer to the question about facing Omega.
This gained the attention of "The Cleaner" and Kenny described Rollins' comment as an "exciting proposal" and that the only thing left to figure out was where a match between the two would take place.
Kenny Omega is set to once again main event the biggest stage in New Japan Pro Wrestling come January. Kenny successfully defended the IWGP Heavyweight Title at 'King Of Pro Wrestling' and is now locked in to defend the strap against Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom 13.
