Shane McMahon Posts Footage Of Him Working Out, Calls It 'Week 3 Post Op Work'

Shane McMahon is putting in the work.

McMahon returned to WWE at WrestleMania 39 Night Two, and he was set to face The Miz in an impromptu match. However, just as the bout was getting underway, McMahon suffered an apparent leg injury during a leapfrog attempt, and he was unable to compete. Thankfully, Snoop Dogg improvised, punched The Miz, and hit him with a People's Elbow to win the match. At the post-show press conference, Triple H confirmed that McMahon tore his quadriceps, but further details were unclear.

In an Instagram post on April 25, McMahon shared clips of himself working out, and he wrote, "Week 3 post op work." In the footage, McMahon can be seen wearing a leg brace.

McMahon parted ways with WWE following WWE Royal Rumble 2022, and Fightful Select reported that Vince McMahon said Shane would never get another pop as long as he was in charge of WWE. Even after Vince retired and Triple H took over, Fightful Select reported that WWE had no immediate plans for Shane. More information is available here.

Fightful will continue to provide more information about Shane McMahon's recovery as it becomes available.

Cody Rhodes recently said he used to play Shane McMahon's theme song in the elevator at NJPW before he helped launch AEW. Check out his comments here.
