Oh, brother.
Hulk Hogan has wrestled everyone from Randy Savage and Roddy Piper to the Rock and Vince McMahon. There are very few major names in wrestling that Hulk Hogan hasn't stepped in the ring against in some capacity. However, he has never tested himself against The Best in the World.
That's right. Hulk Hogan and Shane McMahon have never crossed paths inside the squared circle.
The closest that ever came to happening was at the end of Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania 19 match against Vince McMahon where Shane McMahon came to the ring and when it was all over to check on his father.
While it's been years since Hulk Hogan has had a proper wrestling match, Shane McMahon was one of the final five members of this year's Royal Rumble match.
Following the end of that Royal Rumble, it was reported that Shane McMahon and any plans for him leading up to this year's WrestleMania were quietly dropped following a hectic night backstage.
Now, walking through the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden, often considered the home of WWE in New York City and a venue where his grandfather, Vincent J. McMahon, promoted as well as his father, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Shane McMahon found himself wondering: "does Hulk Hogan have one more match left in him?"
Walking in the hallway @TheGarden with my 3 sons for the @NYRangers game and passed this.

While we may never know the answer to that question, Vince McMahon will be up in the hot seat this Thursday as he makes a rare public appearance when he is a guest on the Pat McAfee Show. Learn more here.
WWE returns to Madison Square Garden on March 5, 2022. Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Championship at that event. Learn more here.
