Former Ring of Honor Television champion Shane Taylor is set to address his ROH future when the promotion returns to Atlanta, Georgia. ROH confirmed this via Kevin Eck's "Eck's Files" feature on their website.
Former ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor will address his future during the Saturday Night at Center Stage live event in Atlanta on Jan. 11.
Since losing the title to Dragon Lee at Final Battle on Dec. 13, there’s been a lot of speculation as to whether Taylor will continue to compete in ROH or move on to another wrestling company.
When I asked a representative from Shane Taylor Promotions whether anything can be read into the fact that Taylor is appearing on the ROH show in Atlanta, he replied that nothing should be assumed.
Taylor and ROH had agreed to terms on a buyout of his contract in September. At that time, he formed Shane Taylor Promotions, and ROH and STP worked out a deal for Taylor
to continue to defend the championship on ROH shows despite his free agent status.Earlier this week, Taylor claimed on social media that he has offers from other wrestling companies.
Taylor lost the Ring of Honor Television Championship to Dragon Lee in December at the Final Battle event and has since announced on social media that he will be taking independent bookings.
