Shannon Moore has had stints with WCW, WWE, TNA Wrestling and various independent promotions throughout his career.
Moore remains active in the ring, and works with wrestlers who have been battling substance abuse, helping them overcome their addictions. Big Bill has credited Moore for his road to sobriety.
Speaking to Chris Jericho on Talk Is Jericho, Moore was asked if he's happy with where he's at in his wrestling career.
"No, I'm not happy with where I left off from a wrestling standpoint. I sold my tattoo shop, I had two shops, I sold them. Now, working with athletes and helping them from a sobriety standpoint, that's been what I've been doing on a daily basis. I put my career kind of to the side to help other people. Now, I'm to the point where I feel I'm producing the best work in the ring that I've ever done before. I'm having these killer matches now. There is part of me, from a wrestling standpoint, at least still contributing from a producer standpoint. I still have something to offer in some aspect. I love coaching, helping guys understand business and how to get better. There is not enough time in the week. I can't go on the road. If I have two athletes in a treatment center that I need to help, it takes a lot of hours to be able to help them. I've had to find that balance and still try to achieve these things in my professional career as a wrestler, but also these things that I'm trying to achieve by helping other athletes and wrestlers with their substance issues or mental health. Ultimately, if there was a way that I could combine that in some way to be a boots on the ground, whenever it comes to mental health and substance use, that person that somebody can trust but also be a producer at some point. Kind of blend those avenues and work from a talent relations standpoint to help with that, full time, that would be the most amazing thing ever because it brings all of my passions and everything together," he said.
Moore remains active on the independent scene, recently wrestling Elijah at LW Reindeer Games.
