Shaquille O’Neal has accepted the challenge laid out by Cody Rhodes.
On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes laid out the challenge to Shaq, saying he and Red Velvet were ready to meet Shaq and Jade Cargill in the ring.
On Thursday's Inside The NBA, Shaq gave his response, saying he's ready to step in the ring with Cody and Red Velvet.
"I'll tell you what, Cupcake Cody Rhodes. I'm gonna beat you like I almost beat Chuck [Charles Barkley]. Remember when I almost gave Chuck the left and he flinched? That's how I'm gonna beat you. Name the place. I'm gonna wrestle him. It's done. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna wrestle Cody Rhodes. Me and Jade [Cargill] are gonna wrestle Cody and Red Pumpkin Pie [Red Velvet]," he said.
Shaq noted that he has a special move for Cody called The Black Tornado and then demonstrated the move on a piece of plexiglass next to Kenny Smith.

AEW has yet to confirm the mixed tag team bout that would pit Shaq & Jade Cargill against Cody & Red Velvet.
