Skye Blue says she's getting better and better every day.
Skye suffered a serious foot injury in July of last year during a bout with Hikaru Shida, going under the knife for surgery on her broken ankle injury. Skye would make an appearance at All Out 2024, but had her crutch swiped away by Mariah May.
While speaking during a K & S WrestleFest signing, Skye was asked about her recovery from her ankle injury, noting that it is getting better every day.
"I’m trying. Healing an ankle is not easy, and especially when it’s completely disconnected from your leg (laughs). But, hopefully soon. (It's) Getting better and better every day."
Skye would respond to another question about her return timetable, mentioning that it was good not to have to butt scoot up stairs anymore.
"I wish I knew, brother. But I’m trying. I can walk. That is a plus, I remember when I couldn’t do that and I was butt scooting up my stairs. Oh, that was the worst. It was funny."
Kyle Fletcher recently commented on Skye's injury, mentioning that she is closer to returning to the ring than fans think. You can read more about that here.
It is unknown when Skye Blue will return to the ring. Fightful will provide more details on her recovery and her return when they are known.
