IMPACT Wrestling announced that Shark Boy will be part of IMPACT 1000.
Shark Boy returned to IMPACT for a handful of matches in 2022. Prior to that he had not wrestled for the promotion since 2015. He did appear on AEW TV during Shark Week 2023.

IMPACT will tape its 1000th episode on September 9 in White Plains, NY. The episode will air on September 14.
