A new trio has emerged on WWE Raw.
On the July 8 episode of WWE Raw, Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) defeated Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter. After the match, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville charged the ring. They attacked both teams, but the beat-down seemed focused on Damage CTRL. Deville, Stark, and Baszler left the trio lying, and they stood tall.

Backstage, Baszler said that this was something that should have happened a long time ago. She said that they ran this division. Stark said they gave Deville a call, and Sonya stated that she was trying to help the duo be the killers that they really were. Deville made it clear that Damage CTRL was just the start, and nobody could do anything to stop them. WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre interrupted and said that as long as they had the titles, it was their division.
Deville had been sidelined with a torn ACL that she suffered in July 2023. She returned on the May 20 episode of WWE Raw and spoke with Baszler and Stark backstage. The duo initially brushed her off, but they have clearly agreed to work with her.
