Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler will clash at NXT Battleground.
In recent weeks, Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler have formed an alliance, as Baszler helped Vice train for her NXT Underground match against Natalya. Vice then scored the win against Natalya at NXT Spring Breakin', thanks to some help from Baszler. The duo continued to work together in their feud with Natalya and Karmen Petrovic.
On the May 21 episode of WWE NXT, Baszler and Vice faced Natalya and Petrovic in the main event. Natalya and Petrovic scored the win with the Hart Attack. After the bell, Vice turned on Baszler. Vice started to walk away, but Baszler trapped her in the Kirifuda Clutch. They brawled, and NXT General Manager Ava came out. She announced that they would face each other at NXT Battleground, and Baszler named an NXT Underground match as the stipulation.

Baszler is a former UFC fighter, and she has competed for other MMA promotions as well. Before her time in WWE, Vice (Valerie Loureda) fought for Bellator MMA.
