Sheamus comments on his loss to Gunther.
Sheamus lost to Gunther in a first-round match in the King of the Ring tournament on the May 6 episode of WWE Raw. This marked their third battle in singles action; they first faced off at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. Gunther then beat Sheamus on the October 7, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown.
Sheamus took to Twitter/X after his loss to Gunther and posted a picture that showed his battle scars. He noted that there would be no part four.

Sheamus recently returned to the ring after a lengthy absence. He had been sidelined since August 2023, but he returned to Raw in April. He defeated Ivar and Shinsuke Nakamura in consecutive weeks before he fell to Gunther on May 6.
