Shelton Benjamin wins his debut match in AEW.
On the October 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, Shelton Benjamin made his debut in AEW, competing against Lio Rush in a singles bout. Benjamin was able to score the win after a back and forth match, pinning Rush after planting him with an rotating exploder slam.
Notably, this was Benjamin's first time competing in a match on TV since June 2023.

After the bout, MVP taunted Rush in the ring and called out Swerve Strickland, saying that they should finish the conversation they started at AEW WrestleDream.
