Shelton Benjamin squashes rumor that he was released from WWE.
Shelton Benjamin is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and United States Champion. Currently, he is on the Monday Night Raw roster and paired with Cedric Alexander. Benjamin had his first run in WWE in the early 2000s and returned in 2016 and has since had several different tag team pairings.
Shelton Benjamin is now squashing bogus Twitter reports that he was released from WWE and having a little fun with the matter, jokingly blaming Mia Yim, his frienemy, for starting the rumor.
I have not been released from WWE. I obviously don’t know where this false report started (probably @MiaYim )but for those that cared thank you but at this time your concerns are premature.
