Shinsuke Nakamura Comments On His WWE Return, Aims To Challenge For The World Title

Shinsuke Nakamura has his sights set on the gold.

Nakamura returned on the April 14 episode of WWE SmackDown; he had been absent from WWE TV since November 2022, and he hadn't competed in a WWE ring since January 2023. Upon his return, he scored an impressive victory against Madcap Moss.

In a WWE Digital Exlcuisve Exclusive, Nakamura shared his thoughts in the aftermath of his first match back, and he made it clear that he had recharged during his time away.he also referenced his win against Great Muta; he defeated the legend at NOAH The New Year 2023 on January 1.

'I’m glad to be back. I’ve been to Japan, so I had a great victory against Great Muta. That was a historic [match]. Then I recharged, I rebooted," Nakamura said.

When asked to describe what his plans were following his return, Nakamura replied, “I need some meat. I need a great opponent. Also, I aim for [the] world title."
