Shinsuke Nakamura is coming to Pro Wrestling NOAH.
NOAH announced that Nakamura, who is currently under contract to WWE, will face The Great Muta at NOAH The New Year 2023 on January 1 at Budokan Hall.
Nakamura hasn't competed in NOAH since 2013. Muta (Keiji Mutoh) is currently on his retirement tour, which will conclude on February 21, 2023. He is set to compete in his last bout as The Great Muta on January 22, 2023. In his last bout as Muta, he will team with Sting to face two unnamed opponents.
On New Year's Day, fans will see pro wrestling's biggest dream match in 2023.

Nakamura last wrestled on Friday's WWE SmackDown, teaming with Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante "Thee" Adonis) against Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Jaoquin Wilde, & Cruz Del Toro). Muta made a surprise appearance at the October 26 NJPW Battle Autumn event when he helped Toru Yano defeat The Great-O-Khan.
