We once again reside in the United States of Nakamerica.
During the Royal Rumble Kick-Off show, Shinsuke Nakamura regained the WWE United States Title by defeating Rusev with a Kinshasa to the back of the head. Rusev was distracted after accidentally knocking Lana off the ring apron and to the floor. Lana was on the apron complaining to the referee about the cheating tactics of Nakamura, who was taking the turnbuckle pad off the corner.

Nakamura lost the United States Title to Rusev on the Christmas edition of SmackDown, which also happened to be Rusev's birthday and Rusev Day. With the victory, Nakamura is now a two-time United States Champion.
