Shinsuke Nakamura says he can communicate with his actions.
Shinsuke Nakamura has been on the main roster at WWE for almost a year. During that time he has performed in front of large crowds across the world but mainly the United States. As a non-native speaker Nakamura told the New York Post, he does not believe he needs to speak perfect English to communicate in the ring.
“I think a wrestler can say something from fighting, from wrestling. I’m not like an English speaker so I have confidence in my wrestling skills, also like body language, hand gestures, facial expressions. I put all of my emotion in my wrestling. That’s why maybe people can feel," said Nakamura.
During the interview, Nakamura discussed his WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 34. He will be facing AJ Styles in a singles match for the first time in WWE but the two wrestlers have met before in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The interview also covered what Nakamura thinks will be different about this match with Styles.
Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast of Wrestlemania 34.
