With the new SmackDown women's roster assembled after the WWE Draft, this week's episode will crown a new top contender for Bayley's SmackDown Women's Championship.
WWE announced that Carmella, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose will compete in a six-pack challenge where the winner gets a future title opportunity. This comes after the WWE Draft and more than a dozen free agents signing to either Raw or SmackDown.
Already announced for the October 18 episode of SmackDown is Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental Championship.
The depth of the SmackDown Women’s division will be on full display in a loaded Six-Pack Challenge Match. Carmella, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose all square off for the opportunity to face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title.
Carmella enters with the experience of a former champion, but all of the competitors are hungry to make a big impression on the blue brand.
